Tasting Notes	Aromas of earthy wild blackberry fruits with a hint of spicyness and oak. Lively acidity on the palate enhances the fruit and savouriness of this wine. It is a flavourful wine with lovely pepper spice and a minerally edge.

Winemaking Notes	This wine was produced off our Block 5 which was planted in 2001 into soil which had been treated organically since 1996. The fruit was machine harvested in the cool of the evening and processed at a local winery under the direction of Folkert Janssen. The resulting wine exhibits ripe, sweet fruit with rich peppery flavours and soft tannins. Alcohol; 14.6% Sulphur [Preservative 220] level at bottling; 57ppm [total] 28ppm [free]
