Notes from the label:

The growing season for this vintage was a welcome change from the extreme heat of 2009/10 we experienced cooler conditions with plenty of rainfall. Fruit was handpicked at full flavour development and fermented carefully in small vessels to maximise flavour, colour and tannin structure. The wine was then filled into French Barriques and Hogsheads heads for maturation.

 The resulting wine shows a dense rich colour with a purple rim. Aromas of ripe fruit with notes of cassis and plum and subtle French oak. The palate is full flavoured with fine tannins making it very approachable. A cool climate Cabernet of the highest quality with intense varietal character and the advantage of absolutely no added allergens or preservatives.
