This is a deep dark and brooding wine from a warm vintage. Considerable intensity and richness shows in this full bodied expression of the terroir. Overlying the gravelly, earthy structure is a panoply of floral, fruity and leafy notes which combined with almost perfect balance auger well for its future development. The high quality cork is already contributing to the evolution of a more complex bouquet and mellowing palate. There is an indefinable something about this wine that is deeply satisfying.
