Producer Profile
Literally meaning "the most wanted", Vinos Más Buscados is a collection of wines grown and nurtured in the Southern half of Spain, mainly in the area known as La Mancha.

Inspired by Spain's largely untapped fine wine resources, friends, colleagues and Masters of Wine, Fergal Tynan and Giles Cooke set off on a journey to find the unsung heroes of Spain, be they regions, growers or winemakers. Fergal's interest in wine terroirs and Giles' instincts for flavour, led them to unearth great Spanish wines whose stories were untold. Each wine is hand made. Each wine reflects the personality of the land and the subtle imprint of man in varying degrees. Now encompassing the terrific value of Castillo del Moro, Centelleo, Torre Solar, and Te Quiero and the organic credentials of Campo Flores, Vinos Más Buscados is a reflection of all that is best in modern Spanish winemaking.

Viticulture
Working with farmers in Cuenca who grow grapes much as they have done for centuries, cultivating old bush vines on sandy chalk soils, in a hot dry climate they have never used, nor needed chemicals.

Winemaking
We select low yielding vineyards and ripe fruit to create a wine suitable for any occasion. The vineyards are closely monitored so grapes are picked at their best and the state of the art winery is well equipped with the most modern winemaking machinery to create fantastic wines. Stainless steel tanks for fermentation.

Oak Treatment: No oak treatment

Tasting Note
An intense succulent, juicy red wine which is luscious and rugged. Supple ripe strawberry and blackcurrant fruit provides the character, and a warming spicy finish gives personality to this delicious honest red.

Food Matching
A great wine for a summer barbeque, duck, grilled meat, and jamon.
