A vintage of extremes with record-breaking temperatures in March following a cooler-than-average February allowed for gentle ripening in 2008, and with virtually no rain experienced in the lead up to harvest, grapes arrived in excellent condition. Cape Jaffa’s best selling wine, this unwooded chardonnay presents an aromatic blend of tropical fruits with melons, lychees and hints of pineapple on the nose, while the palate is complex and fruit-driven. This South Australian favourite exhibits a creamy mouthfeel with a hint of natural fruit sweetness and finishes with well-balanced acidity.
