The Cullen vineyard is a certified biodynamic, carbon neutral and naturally powered estate. It is a naturally fermented wine blended with 79% Cab Sauv & 21% Merlot. It displays ripe, densely flavoured fruits complemented by fine-grained tannins. The Cabernet Sauvignon was matured in French oak for 18 months. Two thirds of the barrels were new. Please enjoy this wine over the next 20 years.
The Story
Colour: Excellent medium red with strong crimson tinges on the meniscus.
Bouquet: Satsuma plum, red currant aromas, rose and violets.
Palate: Ripe cherry, mulberry fruit flavours and firm but soft tannins. Elegant and supple with great length and persistence.
Cellaring: Up to 20 years.
Food: Veal, beef, lamb and beetroot risotto.
