The Story
PRODUCTION NOTES: ARIEL Rouge is made in a sustainable winery in Paso Robles, California. This dealcoholized wine is made from a blend of premium red grape varieties. After the fruit is crushed, it is fermented in stainless steel with the skins for optimum color extraction and complex development of aromas and flavors. Some of the finished wine is oak-aged for additional complexity. Just prior to bottling, the alcohol is gently removed by cold filtration, leaving less than 0.5% alcohol by volume.

“Ariel Rouge, the biggest-bodied of ARIEL Vineyards’ three dealcoholized reds, has solid tannins and cherry notes, perfect with grilled meat or lasagna… (ARIEL) produce de-alcoholized sparklers worthy of your best flutes. ARIEL Brut Cuvée is excitingly austere at first sip, turning apple-y but keeping an edge.” Nancy Weber » NYCitywoman
