This is a light crisp dry wine, displaying a pleasant citrus & floral aroma. The blend of three Rhone varieties results in a wine with a nicely balanced palate that compliments chicken & pork dishes.
The Story
The fruit was fermented in two batches, the first being the Viognier, followed about two weeks later by the Marsanne and Roussanne.
The wine is then blended upon the completion of fermentation.
The wine is perfumed, showing some very attractive floral characters. It is a light, crisp dry white wine with the complexity of a little bottle age beginning to show.
There has been no filtration carried out on this wine. Clarification was achieved by the time honoured method of using gravity. The wine may, therefore, have some protein precipitation in some bottles. This is totally harmless.
