Tasting notes from the winery for Earth Mother Pinot Gris 2020

Tasting Notes: A lovely aroma of freshly baked pears with vanilla custard make the nose of this wine so alluring. It’s followed by a generous, plush and silky smooth palate that moves slowly to reveal subtle stone fruit characters.

Earth Mother is a homage to mother nature. Devoted guardian of our lands and our vineyards and in keeping with that theme these wines are organic and vegan friendly. Organic wines are sourced from fully certified Organic vineyards and made using minimal additions. Made with fruit from the Valleys of Marlborough, New Zealand this wine has been crafted by the elements and shaped by the vast landscape of its home.

Winemaking: Hand-picked into small bins and chilled before transportation to the winery, this wine saw a cool fermentation in stainless steel before extended maturation on lees to build texture and complexity.
