This offering exhibits strong pineapple, pear and melon notes in the aromas and flavors, with a long viscous finish, typical of the Alsatian approach.
The Story
This estate-grown wine was fermented in small stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures, using a German yeast strain known for its ability enhance aromatics and varietal character. By allowing the wine to finish the malo-lactic fermentation, we were able to achieve a creamier texture while maintaining a good fruit acid level for balance.
