Winery/Brand: Freehand Natural Wines
Dark deep red in colour, enticing lively nose of dark fruits and dried herbs, plums and mint. Palate shows soft fruit with bitter chocolate & savoury edge, it flows over your tongue with velvety suppleness and spice. Very fine tannins lead to a long smooth finish.
It is a WOW wine to be savoured over the course of an evening!

Mike Bennie Review - Freehand Merlot 2014
Biodynamic and organic farming. No sulphur used. Un-fined and unfiltered. 24 months in French oak. Stalwarts of this style from Great Southern.
Neatly marries dark plum, bay leaf, gum leaf, touch of mint, all up lively and bright to sniff on. Unadorned fruit flavours, soft and supple, plum, roast tomato, earthiness. Has a really nice ‘raw’ feel to it all. Yummy. Joyous freshness to the feel but laden with spice and savouriness. Thanks.
