Limpid red colour. Pleasant nose revealing red fruits, a smoky touch, fine spices. Full-bodied and alert on the palate that overflows with joyful fruit and gourmet, notes of tobacco and pepper as it evolves. An accessible wine that will know charm a chilli con carne.

An ideal pizza night wine that is simple, delicious and easy to drink. For those for whom such things matter – and isn’t that all of us these days – it is organic. Fermented with wild yeasts and suitable for vegans (as well as anyone else who enjoys a good drink), this is crimson red. Soft aromatics with florals and red berries, plus a hint of the spice rack. Very gentle tannins, so not the sort of wine to keep the geeks up late into the night; rather, the sort of wine that makes a second glass almost mandatory. As we head into summer, don’t be afraid to chill it.
