Maraschino cherry with a hint of cedar and spice. The palate is light-medium with fine chalky tannins and clensing acid. From 29yo vines, this wines shows lovely varietal nose and flavours. It sees limited time in old French & American oak, which allows the elegant fruit flavours to shine.
The Story
The Pinot Noir is planted on the steepest section of Martins Hill to avoid late Spring frosts. The grapes are hand harvested. Ready to drink upon release, but would cellar well for 5-8 years.
