‘Gestalt’ is a range of premium wines from Tamburlaine which are usually blends. Borrowing from a German psychological term for totality, Gestalt is ‘the whole’ where each component is considered part of the whole dynamic relationship. In this range organically grown grape varieties are blended to give you the sum of their best individual characters. Tamburlaine Vineyard was established in 1966 as one of the earliest ‘boutique’ production vineyards in the Hunter Valley. Mark Davidson took over in 1985, and has built a successful modern customer-focused business with a ‘boutique’ innovative image.
