Intense ruby in colour, the aromas of dark juicy fruits with a little vanilla are very inviting. The palate has a lovely texture with black currant flavours, balanced acidity and a touch of vibrant nutmeg oak. Very moreish.
The Story
The Organic Wine Selection (OWS) 2006 NAP Yarra Valley Cabernet Sauvignon ($15.40) was second top scoring wine in the 2007 Yarra Valley Wine Show in its class. It missed out by half a point to the Yering Station 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon (RRP $25 approx).
