Deep red/purple in colour with bright purple edges, the nose shows bright red cherry fruit with a touch of dustiness and some savoury meaty undertones. The palate is quite light with more red fruit flavours, a hint of pepper and some pleasant clove spiciness. The tannins are light but velvety & the length quite good with a fresh acid finish. A great match for a variety of foods & definitely over-delivers at its price point.
