Three parcels open-fermented, one parcel finished fermentation in new American oak, the remainder extended post-fermentation maceration, matured for 20 months in French barriques (75% new) and American barriques (45% new). The flavour pantechnicon rolls across the mouth like a deep ocean wave caused by a faraway storm, painting every surface of the mouth with a seamless display of black fruits and regional dark chocolate, quality oak a barely needed but welcome bonne bouche.
