The 2004 Shiraz is a vibrant, garnet coloured wine showing candied fruit flavours with an underlying earthy character. It is medium bodied on the palate with a bouquet of blackberry and liquorice making it a smooth drinking wine for all occasions.
The Story
Our Shiraz is hand picked in April, matured in oak, and bottled the following March. The Shiraz grows at the lower end of the north facing slope of our vineyard. The vine rows end where the creek winds through a wilderness area sheltering swamp hens and maned geese.
