This is a bargain cleanskin wine, that with its winery label on, sells for over $20 per bottle!
A rich full red inky in colour wine. The bouquet has bright red and blue fruit with lifted pepper spice. A subtle use of oak has added some nutty complexity Well rounded and generous on the palate with soft red berry fruit and vanilla hints, complemented with warm exotic spice.
We are really excited to have procured a small parcel of quality cleanskin Shiraz from an impressive South Australian producer in the Riverland, so don't hesitate to stock up while they last.
Tasting Notes for Riverland South Australia Organic Shiraz Cleanskin 2019
Colour: Deep inky red.
Nose: The bouquet has lifted black pepper, red fruit and floral hints. Oak maturation has added
a subtle nutty influence to the sweet berry fruit.
Palate: The flavours of blueberries and mulberries are intense and are complemented with soft vanillin characters. This wine shows an abundance of generous fruit characters and has soft, yet full-bodied flavours that linger. Oak maturation has further complexed the wine, adding a supporting rather than a dominating role
Cellaring: Excellent drinking now or medium-term cellaring 2 - 5 years will be rewarded.
