Unashamedly influenced by a variety of French styles and although Batch 1 is 100% chardonnay , some structural inspiration has been pulled from the iconic Hunter semillons. The nose should have a naughty musky side to the typical pineapply chardonnay fruit, the solidsy cloudy ferment add more dimensions which will continue to evolve in the bottle. There is no oak to overly complicate things, lees stirring complements the fruit length and malo is not carried out in order to retain a zingier natural acidity through the mid-palate.
