Enticing lifted aromas of blackberry fruit, cabernet herbaceousness and a hint of cedar & coconut coming from the oak. The palate continues the theme with ripe dark red fruit and some leathery notes, chalky tannins and all held together by a nice acid line. Very tasty & easy to drink.

The Story
Peter Comisel & Dot Hollow established Sandy Farm Vineyard in 1988 and with lots of hard work over the last 25+ years they have created a loyal following of consumers who appreciate their quality small scale preservative & chemical free wines.
All wine is matured in a mixture of French Oak and American Oak for between 12 and 18 months. All our wines are totally free of preservatives and agro chemical fertilizers. All wines are hand picked, hand plunged and basket pressed.
