2018 Seresin Pinot Gris
Hand picked rich textural Pinot Gris

One of only a handful of wineries in New Zealand who are both Bio-Gro Organic and Demeter Certified, Seresin have been family owned & operated for over 20 years. This Pinot Gris was hand-picked before being fermented with wild yeast and aged for a brief period of 5 months in old oak puncheons to give a unique texture and body to this rich and luscious wine.

On the nose there is abundant pear, quince, and a gentle soft ginger spice all overlay into one another. A very soft, perfumed and aromatic nose. In the mouth it is a richly textured soft wine, full of soft stone fruit and figs, with a long, pure, dry finish. The oak gives it a great weight, making this Pinot Gris stand head and shoulders above a lot of other wines at the same price point. Definitely a Pinot Gris everyone needs to try!
