Winery/Brand: Temple Bruer
This wine is deep red in colour. The nose shows many aromas including mint, forest berries and cedar with hints of medicinal character and regional earth also evident. The palate is full with fruit well supported by mouth coating tannins. The wine finishes dry with medium length and lingering flavours of plum and cedar.
The Story
Sourced from Temple Bruer's certified organic vineyard in Langhorne Creek the fruit used to create this wine was primarily co-fermented. The must was pumped over the cap for approximately one week, gentle pressing followed before the fermentation finished. Malolactic fermentation was encouraged and at its completion the wine was matured in oak barrels. French oak was principally used to create this wine.
