VINEYARD
Grown in Temple Bruer’s certified organic vineyards in Langhorne Creek and Loxton. We focus on growing moderate yields with exceptional flavour through under vine composting and mid-row cover crops to increase soil carbon and nitrogen naturally. The very deep red sand over yellow clay and limestone soils and the warm continental climate of our Loxton vineyard produce outstanding white varieties such as Frontignac whilst the alluvial plains of Langhorne Creek are ideally suited to Verdelho and Chenin Blanc. Both vineyards are certified organic and an exceptional vintage, low disease pressure and a late cool ripening period, coupled with low to medium yields, provided a perfect season for our white varieties.

WINEMAKING
Lola’s Garden was made from estate grown fruit that was harvested individually at the optimum ripeness of each parcel. The grapes were gently crushed and pressed into tank for a brief settling period before fermentation. After alcoholic fermentation the wines were blended and malolactic fermentation was encouraged. This wine is preservative free and sulphur dioxide has not been used during production, the wine has been bottled with and intentional light spritz to lift the palate and give the wine great freshness and length.

TASTING NOTES
COLOUR Straw colour, with slight spritz.
AROMA The nose leads with aromas of pear, pineapple and stone fruit.
FLAVOUR Crisp citrus like acidity, with some apricot nectar like roundness to the palate lifted by a gentle spritz of bubbles. The wine shows flavours of nectarine, peach and lychee with great length.
