Winery/Brand: Temple Bruer

This wine is deep red in colour. Rich with plums, blackberries, black peppercorns and dried herbs, and an earthiness typical of Langhorne Creek wines. The palate is full with the fruit flavours well supported by mouth coating tannins and toasty oak.

The Story

2014 Shiraz Preservative Free

LANGHORNE CREEK & LOXTON VINEYARD

The grapes were picked from mid March to early April. The temperatures fluctuated throughout the season and with lower yields, however fruit flavour, intensity and balance are still excellent.

WINEMAKING
After crushing, the must was fermented at a temperature range of 18 - 22° C. The wine was pressed between 1.0 and 3.0° Be` and all the pressings were included with the free-run wine. The Ferment finished and was matured with minimal handling to maintain freshness and prevent oxidation. The wine was bottled on the 16th August 2014. No sulphur Dioxide is added at any point in any process. The wine is bottled with intentional spritz to retain freshness.
