This wine is yellow to golden in colour. This wine has developed to show toasty characters reminiscent of almond biscuit, cream and dried pineapple. The palate is medium in weight with refreshing citrus acidity well balanced with creamy malo characters.
The Story
The fruit for this wine was sourced from Temple Bruer and harvested on the 12th February. The grapes were crushed and cooled before lightly being pressed. The wine underwent alcoholic fermentation slowly under cool conditions to retain fruit flavour. Malo-lactic fermentation was encouraged which has increased palate weight and complexity. Sulphur dioxide was not used during the production of this wine.
