Yes this wine was out of vintage, but the warehouse "found" an extra 10 or so cases, so for those of you lucky enough to secure some - ENJOY
This wine is yellow to golden in colour. This wine has developed to show toasty characters reminiscent of almond biscuit, cream and dried pineapple. The palate is medium in weight with refreshing citrus acidity well balanced with creamy malo characters.
The Story
The fruit for this wine was sourced from Temple Bruer. The grapes were crushed and cooled before lightly being pressed. The wine underwent alcoholic fermentation slowly under cool conditions to retain fruit flavour. Malo-lactic fermentation was encouraged which has increased palate weight and complexity. Sulphur dioxide was not used during the production of this wine.
