This wine is all soft, juicy goodness with a POP! A perfect accompaniment to a warming meal, (steak sandwich anyone?), or to share with friends by a cosy fire.
On opening this preservative free wine has a bit of a pop and some fizz, this is intentional and due to bottling under carbon dioxide which keeps it fresh. The fizz quickly disappears with a few good swirls in the glass.
An appealing bright garnet colour. The aromas are super inviting, caramel, chocolate, prunes, raspberries and deep black fruits, with a slight herbal-minty note. To taste the wine is surprisingly dry, with fine chalky tannins. The palate is lush with raspberry, ripe black currant, plums, liquorice and mint. Not at all ‘unexpectedly’ good!

Superb bright purple hue from the rim through to its core. The nose commands bold blackcurrant fruit and is sweet and luscious on the palate, with a deep long finish. Not ‘unexpectedly’, this is a great everyday wine!
