The bouquet is lifted, with floral and citrus notes of mandarin, grapefruit and blossom.

Green apple and herbal notes increase complexity and blend perfectly to an intense minerality.

The palate is incredibly juicy and fresh. This wine is bone dry, but the time on lees gave it a textural sweetness and creaminess that together with the finest tannins, gives roundness and flesh.

Notes of blood orange, minerals and herbs define the palate. Delicious.

Tasting notes for Tscharke Rose 2024 from the Winery

Damien Tscharke himself describes this as ‘spring in a glass’. The bouquet is incredibly aromatic and complex. Floral, green, and herbaceous upfront with chalky minerality and a bit of richness from the lees coming through. Textural and dry palate with a bright and slightly tannic finish.

Winemaking

The fruit was picked in the early hours and then pressed and fermented slowly, at a low temperature.
