Growers will tell you 2005 wasn't a great vintage in the district.Well someone forgot to tell the team at Wild Fox. This remarkable vintage remains true in structure ,and, the families tradition of minimal interference is evident from the moment it touches the palate where it shows terrific palate weight.The nose reminds you of Mocha coffee beans dipped in dark chocolate. Most impressive is the intensity of the red berry fruit. Then, the soft chewy tannins seem to extend forever. It’s all rounded out with classy, estrained oak to dry off the finish and leave you wanting more. Pass the crumbly cheddar and a knife will you! Who needs a cellar?
