VINTAGE SUMMARY
The growing season began with significantly higher than average rainfall. The cool, wet conditions continued through Spring, setting us up for balanced canopies and lower yields. La Niña weather patterns forecast cooler temperatures and continued rainfall for harvest. We were able to enhance vineyard practices such as shoot thinning and leaf removal to promote airflow, reduce mildew and increase sun exposure to bunches. From our experience, a cold vintage in a warm region can produce some of the best wines. Due to the cultural practices implemented, we were able to pick the majority of the vineyard in a three-week window prior to Easter, completed in early April. Wines produced from this vintage will be some of the prettiest and most delicate from the Estate.

This is a fresh, crisp, dry style that’s made with grenache that has all the attractive peach, strawberry and floral allure you’d expect in a modern Australian rosé. The palate has a mouthwatering, sleek feel. From organically grown grapes. Drink now. Screw cap. 92/100

92 Points Amanda Yallop The Real Review 2020 Vintage
Translucent pink hue. Aromas of cherry blossom, ginger tea and young blueberries. The palate shows sweet stone fruit, nectarine and blue plum. The texture is a pleasingly chalky, a light to medium-bodied rosé, with crunchy acidity and a refreshing, dry finish.
90 Points Ned Goodwin Halliday Wine Companion 2020 Vintage
Hand picked, whole-bunch basket-pressed and fermented wild before some lees stirring for 5 months. A bright coral. Aromas of poached strawberry, orange zest, thyme and other dried herb. Weighted just right to be thirst slaking and dangerously drinkable, attesting to the exciting ascendancy of rosé in Australia.
